How We Can Help Your Club

Get into Golf Programme

Get into Golf is a programme designed to not only support golf clubs in recruiting new members and in turn increase their membership figures and revenue but, also to make golf more accessible to the wider audience. The programme is a combination of lessons with a PGA Professional and volunteer activities to help integrate the participants into the golf club.

CGI can help your club run a get into golf programme and provide support in the following areas:

  • Structure an eight week programme.
  • Advertising.
  • Internal and external communication.
  • Taster sessions/ awareness days.
  • Developing follow on membership packages.

Junior Development

Our Junior Development review centres on the combined efforts of both recruiting new junior members and maintaining the existing members at the club – this is done through effective retention. Working on both these areas will give clubs a full strategy on developing their junior section. The Junior Development review aims to identify areas of discussion for the club committee along with the opportunity to review their current practices and create a plan of action alongside your designated Participation Officer.

At the end of the process with CGI your club will have:

  • Reviewed the clubs current membership figures, categories, fees and also your current junior committee and volunteers.
  • Reviewed the clubs current junior recruitment and retention practices.
  • Information on Golf4Girls4Life and Boys framework.
  • Suggest targeted marketing campaigns for consideration.
  • Support the club to create a programme that is suitable and specific to the club’s needs.
  • Provide recommendations/ actions based on best practice advice.

At the end of the process with CGI your club will have:

  • Reviewed the current recruitment and retention practices.
  • Provide recommendations/ actions based on best practice advice.
